Public Notice - Smith Road Bridge Reopened! (06/13/2008)
The bridge on the Smith Road has been closed due to the failure of a piling. Repair work has begun, and appropriate signage has been installed. Notice of the reopening date will be posted.
Interim Appointment Made for District 12 (05/19/2008)

Spray Park Coming to North Bossier Park (05/03/2008)
Bossier City and Bossier Parish will jointly fund a 50’x 50’ covered Spray Park at the North Bossier Park, similar to the small spray area located at Louisiana Boardwalk.

Click the link above to view the information which was made at a public hearing on July 24, 2007 regarding the the North South Corridor. (Requires the Free Adobe Acrobat Reader) Update: On December 12, 2007, both the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development and the Federal Highway Administration have agreed to proceed with the draft Environmental Assessment study identifying Alternative No. 2 as the preferred alternative. This is an important event in the process. As a result, the draft report will be finalized, reviewed by these two governmental agencies, and will then be displayed for a 30-day mandatory public review period.
