Spray Park Coming to North Bossier Park

The Bossier Parish Police Jury, in cooperation with the City of Bossier City and the Bossier Parish School Board, is working on the continued development of the North Bossier Park, located adjacent to Brownlee Subdivision. Bossier City has built and maintains tennis courts, accessible from Benton Road, north of Brownlee Subdivision. A playground and walking trail have been constructed on Old Brownlee Road, and Bossier City and Bossier Parish will jointly fund a 50’x 50’ covered Spray Park, similar to the small spray area located at Louisiana Boardwalk. This addition will be completed in August, 2008. The walking trail is being extended, and will eventually connect to a bicycle trail, which is in the planning stages.
