Interim Appointment  (5/5/2008)

The Bossier Parish Police Jury will make an interim appointment at its meeting on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 3:30 p.m. to fill the vacancy in District 12, Bossier Parish Police Jury, created by the death of Edwin T. Shell.  Resumes of anyone interested in filling this position should be submitted immediately to Bill Altimus, Parish Administrator, Bossier Parish Police Jury, P. O. Box 70, Benton, La.  FAX 318-965-3703.

 
Police Jury Meeting Time Change  (5/5/2008)
This is to advise that due to funeral services for Eddy Shell, Police Juror, District 12, the time for the May 7, 2008 regular meeting of the Bossier Parish Police Jury has been changed from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
 
Construction and Post-Construction Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance  (12/28/2007)
Effective January 1, 2008:  Construction and Post-Construction Erosion and Sediment Control Ordinance Regulating Discharges to the Municipal Separate Stormwater Drainage System (MS4) to Prevent and/or Minimize Pollution from Stormwater Runoff. The Bossier Parish Police Jury has adopted a construction and post-construction ordinance regulating discharges to the municipal separate stormwater drainage system (MS4), to prevent and/or minimize pollution from stormwater runoff, to be effective January 1, 2008.  These regulations apply to "Urbanized Areas" only, which are defined as areas of the parish with the population density which requires coverage of the Stormwater Management Program.
