2007 Parish Road Overlay Program

The 2007 Road Overlay Program is currently underway. Please see our updated road list under the heading Three Year Road Program. Two contract projects were recently awarded to Benton & Brown, LLC, which include Deen Point Road and Swan Lake Road. Asphalt overlay of the Deen Point Road is currently being done. Upon completion of Deen Point Road and when school is out for summer vacation, overlay work will begin on Swan Lake Road from its intersection with Airline Drive going east for several miles. We apologize for any inconvenience the projects may cause to the public as these two roads are being reconstructed. | |

Police Jury Meeting Change

Due to the July 4 holiday, the Bossier Parish Police Jury has rescheduled its first meeting in July to be held on Thursday, July 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. in the police jury meeting room.

Bridge Replacement

| The Bossier Parish Police Jury has contracted with BBC Engineering, Inc., to provide the surveying, civil design and geotechnical services to replace the Caplis Sligo Road bridge over Flat River in South Bossier Parish. This bridge will be replaced under the State's Off-System Bridge Replacement Program in the near future. |
